Garnets

What you see in this picture is illustrated theoretical garnet mineral classification scheme. You can usually find mineral classification schemes in very simple look - black-white colors, bunch of formulas, numbers and some explanations. As my title says - I am a geologist and I was always interested to see how these dry schemes would look like if illustrated with "real" minerals.
