Feldspar mineral classification

In geology, mineralogy there are various classifications of minerals and rocks. This picture is feldspar mineral classification illustrated by 'real' minerals. Usually you would find black/white flat scheme with formulas and mineral names written on it. And you simply have to know, to remember how the certain mineral looks like. This illustration, even if it can not be 100 % accurate because of great mineral variety in nature, helps to remember how these minerals look like. It shows two solid solution series - alkali feldspar series, from orthoclase, microcline to albite and plagioclase feldspar series, from albite to anorthite and all intermediate minerals.
